Purchasing Manager/Materials Buyer required for immediate start. Must be experienced within Drylining/Interiors and external Facades systems. Salary negotiable, dependent on experience. Duties will include: • Overall management of the procurement department, reporting to the Directors. • Prepare and issue enquiries, carry out quotation analysis and evaluation. • Conduct negotiations with Suppliers, place orders at least end cost and longest payment terms aswell as setting up rebate schemes where possible. • Compliance with corporate Supply Chain processes & procedures. • Contribute to the implementation of project Supply Chain Strategies. • Manage procurement against the Tender Event Schedule/Procurement program. • Resolve issues/queries between suppliers and OCL. • Daily management of delivery schedules and resolutions of delivery failures. • Prepare and present reports as required. • Monitor Supplier Performance and report to the Directors. • Ongoing liaison with the commercial team regarding cost controls, buying gains and variation orders • Working closely with the estimators in preparing and issuing of tenders. • Management of group plant and tool assets ensuring maximum utilization • Management of group plant and tool hire activities Applications by email (office@ocl-ltd.com) or post (including Covering letter and CV), stating salary expectations and available start date.
