The Community Hub at the Bridge

The Community Hub at the Bridge in Dartford is Kent County Council’s first purpose built, learning and community campus. The ‘Community Hub and Learning Centre’ consists of a primary school for up to 420 children, a nursery, youth hall, library, children’s and adult social services, health consulting room, visitor centre and café. There are more community facilities available that are all situated around a 15 metre tall central cone.

The development is intended to be the centrepiece of the Thames Gateway regeneration project with a number of eco-friendly features.

The Bridge is a joint development by Dartford Borough Council, ProLogis and Taylor Wimpey. The community campus has been jointly funded by them with further support from Kent County Council.
